Deepening with Somatic IFS
A 6-Month Experiential Group
With Somatic IFS Assistant Trainers Marcella Cox & LaDonna Silva
An Invitation to Deepen Into Embodied Practice
So much of Somatic IFS can only be learned through direct experience — in the subtle moments of breath, sensation, movement, and relational attunement. Many clinicians come out of Step 1 or Step 2 with an understanding of the model, yet still long for more embodied fluency.
This group was created to meet that need.
Deepening with Somatic IFS is a 6-month community where we slow down together, attune inward, and explore what it means to truly inhabit the work — not just apply it.
Every month, Marcella and LaDonna will hold a spacious, supportive container where your system can settle, parts can soften, and your own embodied Self-leadership can deepen.
Why This Group Matters
In our experience, therapists don’t struggle because they’re missing concepts — they struggle because their body hasn’t yet integrated the practice.
Somatic IFS requires a different kind of knowing:
A knowing that arises from the breath…
from the ground beneath you…
from the way your nervous system responds in connection…
from the subtle cues protectors offer through posture, voice, or energy…
This group gives you the space, and the relational support to let this work actually land inside you.
What Our Time Together Looks Like
Each monthly session includes a blend of:
Guided Somatic IFS Meditation
We begin by helping your system settle into “body time,” so there is more access to Self energy and less pressure to perform.
Live Demonstrations
You’ll witness the pacing, sequencing, and embodied attunement that guide the Somatic IFS process — the things that can’t be learned from a manual.
Structured Practice in Triads
You’ll receive clear guidance and real-time support as you practice, whether working with protectors, following sensations, or tracking the relational field.
Community Integration & Q&A
We close with space to reflect, share insights, ask questions, and honor what unfolded.
This is experiential learning at a pace that honors your inner system and invites real inner transformation.
Who This Is For
This group is designed for clinicians who:
- Have completed Step 1 or Step 2 in Somatic IFS
- Want more support integrating the five somatic practices into sessions
- Learn best by doing, witnessing, and being witnessed
- Desire more confidence and ease working with protectors, pacing, resonance, and embodiment
- Long for a community where their parts feel welcome
If you’ve ever thought,
“I understand Somatic IFS, but I don’t always know how to embody it,”
you’re exactly who we created this for.
What You Will Gain
Over six months, you’ll strengthen your ability to:
- Track sensations and somatic cues with more clarity
- Stay connected to Self energy while holding complexity
- Recognize and work with somatic expressions of protectors and exiles
- Bring breath, movement, touch and resonance into your work with confidence
- Trust your body’s wisdom as part of the therapeutic process
Our hope is that you leave this group not only with more skill — but with more self-trust in your own embodied knowing.
