Our culture and society is obsessed with food and nutrition – often in a negative way. Most social discussions lead to weight loss and diets. It is hard to get accurate and science-based nutrition information with social media constantly burdening us with ads and blog posts from non-qualified people. I want to provide nutrition facts based on scientific data. I want to help you feel nourished and whole.

My Approach

I take a non-diet approach to nutrition – through encouraging mindful and intuitive eating practices. I enjoy helping clients work through challenge foods by having meals or snacks together to help support and process these difficult foods. I believe that all food fits, and work to combat good versus bad thinking.  I want to create a supportive environment and meet you where you are, so you can achieve your goals.

Online Therapy

Your time is valuable and having to travel to a therapist office can sometimes be a barrier to getting the support you want and deserve. Studies have shown that video-therapy can be equally as effective as in-person therapy. I use HIPAA compliant video software allowing you to participate in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Sessions function the same way as in-person therapy without the added time & cost of travel.

My Journey and Education

I earned my B.S and M.S. degrees in Health Science, Nutrition from The University of North Florida (UNF) and completed my 1,200-hour dietetic internship in Jacksonville. I moved out to San Francisco after I completed my studies. I have worked in outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential programs. I enjoy working with a variety of eating disorders or disordered eating – helping people rediscover the joy of food while feeling grounded in their bodies.
